Meet Charles

Partnership Development Consultant Charles “CW” Walls is a seasoned executive servant leader with a distinguished career at multiple national Fortune 100 institutions. He boasts over two decades of comprehensive experience catering to consumer, business, investment, government, and not for profit clients.

A graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, a Historically Black College in North Carolina, he also earned a Masters of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University. He remains a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.

CW has demonstrated proficient leadership across multiple banking markets, skillfully overseeing deposits and investments surpassing $5B. During his last corporate assignment, he strategically worked nationwide to enhance lending outcomes for borrowers of color as a part of a substantial $30B commitment to address the racial wealth gap. He has consistently demonstrated excellence in delivering superior customer service to his clients, coupled with the adept training of teams of over 200+ direct reports to be a force multiplier creating the same impact for clients throughout the Midwest region.

Fueled by a dedication to inclusivity, he established Community Works Consulting Group (CWCG) to deliver highly specialized services to not for profit organizations, government entities and businesses frequently overlooked by traditional financial institutions.

Outside of his professional pursuits, CW is an enthusiastic supporter of the Chicago White Sox. He also engages in fantasy sports activities with his 17-year-old son, Jaden.
